As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process on their mixed-use, multifamily projects.

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team for an exciting mixed-use, multifamily project in Westchester County.

Description

  • Project Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure project completion according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local building codes, company standards, and project specifications.
  • Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work site for all personnel.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the field and project management team, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and successful project milestones.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, minimizing delays and cost overruns.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with mixed-use and multifamily projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification or similar safety training is preferred.
  • DOB is highly preferred, but not necessary
