NETWORK ARCHITECT


Job Details

The Network Architect will be responsible for the design and technical oversight of TUHS network environment. The architect will work collaboratively with the architecture and infrastructure technology teams in the evaluation of new technologies and solutions. The architect will act as a technical project coordinator for large or critical initiatives and will utilize best practices to ensure new technologies and solutions are operationally ready when released to production.

Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
5 Years experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large complex multi-location network (Required)
5 Years experience with hands-on experience in network engineering including but not limited to routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networking and network security (Required)
3 Years experience with hands-on experience on Palo Alto Firewall (Preferred)
Previous experience in in Cisco Networking, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE, Infoblox, Citrix Netscaler, Virtualization and Cloud networking (Preferred)
Previous experience and understanding of Cisco SD-WAN, VMware NSX-T (Preferred)
Previous experience and understanding of networking protocols and concepts such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VLAN, TCP/IP, VRF, SNMP, ACI (Preferred)
Previous experience with Cisco VOiP (Preferred)
Previous experience in Health care environment (Preferred)

License/Certifications
CCNP - Cisco Cert Net Professional (Required)
CCIE - Cisco Cert Internetwork Expert (Preferred)
