G.A. Rogers & Associates has partnered with our Southlake, TX based client in search of a tenured residential construction professional for the Director of their Purchasing team!

What you'll do:
Lead a team in lowering the cost of construction by implementing and executing on a centralized, strategic procurement plan to support all regions and areas, while ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction and build times goals are met.
- Develop & execute a strategic plan for budgeting, purchase order, and variance process
- Effectively communicate procurement initiatives for department, field operations and leadership
- Develop, manage, and negotiate vendor partnerships and contracts for all sectors of business
- Analyze and report material and labor costs to the field operations and leadership teams
Who you are:
- Tenured professional with at least 7 years of experience in residential construction or home building and 5 years in procurement / purchasing
- Degreed Professional with educational emphasis on a related field such as Construction, Architecture, or Engineering (preferred)
- A proven leader that effectively communicates in all formats to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
- A Microsoft Office wiz, particularly Excel and Outlook (Bonus points for experience with Brix, Hyphen (BuildPro/SupplyPro))
