The Charleston Dirty Birds are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff members to join our team for the 2024 baseball season. As part of the Event Staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience for our fans and guests during our home games. Responsibilities:
Ushers:
- Greet and assist fans with seating and provide information about the stadium.
- Monitor assigned sections to ensure fan safety and compliance with stadium policies.
- Respond to fan inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Ticket Takers:- Scan tickets and validate access to the stadium.
- Provide guidance on seat locations and answer basic ticket-related questions.
- Ensure smooth entry and exit for all attendees.
Team Store Associate:- Assist fans in the team store, helping them find and purchase merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, restocking inventory as needed.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ambassador (Security):- Ensure the safety and security of fans, players, and staff during games.
- Enforce stadium policies and handle any security-related issues professionally.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement if necessary.
Qualifications:- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Prior experience in customer service, security, or event-related roles is a plus but not required.
