Debbie s Staffing is offering great Direct Hire opportunities for Shift Supervisors in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. We are seeking detail-oriented applicants with experience in the wood pellet industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, clear communication of expectations, and maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Review and analyze work accomplishments, costs, and utilization to evaluate progress, budget, and anticipate potential issues, including emergency requirements.
• Maintain communication with the plant manager to ensure production requirements are understood.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Effectively communicate any equipment deficiencies to all team members and management.
• Ensure profitability is maintained by working within a budget.
• Submit reports in accordance with reporting directives.
• Utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Provide any required assistance while carrying out duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education; Community College or bachelor s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient working knowledge of pneumatic conveying, hydraulics, electronics, welding, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Possess the following KPIs: results-focused, planning and organization, technical knowledge and troubleshooting, communications proficiency, and vision strategy.
• Willing to work in a rigorous environment, including extreme heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions.
• Must be able to walk, climb, twist, turn, grasp, lift, push, pull, reach, bend, squat, and work on platforms more than 100 feet.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
