Job Summary:

Senior Helpers is seeking an experienced Personal Caregiver in theSoutheast Kansas City area of Missouri to join our team. This is a full-time, or part-time hourly position in the Home Care field. As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and high-quality care to a very Special Client in their own home, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This individual contributor role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional care to our clients.

Compensation & Benefits:

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to hourly compensation, this role also offers benefits such as:

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and social outings
- Engage in conversation and social activities with clients to promote companionship and mental well-being
- Document and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety protocols

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Caregiver
- Knowledge of Dementia caregiving skills and techniques
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude towards seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, families, and supervisors
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
