Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise production personnel
- Participate in long range planning of equipment and facilities to meet plant capacity needs and strive toward a zero-waste environment
- Model manufacturing excellence through implementing production goals and methods to achieve targeted delivery and quality requirements through the following;
- Develop staff and serve as an integral role in training staff members
- Communicate with all levels of staff, management, regulatory bodies and customers
- Support behavior-based safety process for GMP, food safety, employee safety, pest control and inventory control
Requirements for Production Supervisor:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in the food industry
- Good problem solving, leadership and team building skills
- Bilingual is a plus
