The Ice Cream Plant, located in Bellevue, Washington has an opening for a Mix Maker/Pastuerizer (Graveyard).

Competitive Wages - The pay range is $24.32 to $32.17 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
Roles and responsibilities will include the following at a minimum:
- Operator must be able to perform all job functions in a safe & productive manner.
- This person is responsible for adhering to all safety, quality, & sanitation standards.
- Must be able to use basic math & accurately complete control paperwork clearly & in a detailed manner.
- Specific job duties include but are not limited to: mix planning, mix making, raw ingredient receiving, QA testing, and other support functions (CIP, COP, HTST operation).
- Additional job duties will include operating freezers, pumps, fruit feeders, check-weighers, metal detectors, forklift, pallet jack, to SOP's & to achieve performance targets.
- Employees may also be asked to participate on problem solving teams.
- Must be able to work in a team & willing to perform various functions out of regular scope or as assigned by a supervisor.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Demands of the Position:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. above the waist 10 times per day.
- Significant bending and stooping
- Exposure to heights (may be elevated 40ft. on lift equipment)
- Willingness to work extended or any scheduled work hours.
Physical Work Environment May Include the Following:
- Exposure to extreme temperature changes (hot and cold)
- Exposure to loud noises, allergens and moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to Hazardous chemicals
