Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to plans and making necessary adjustments.
- Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of all project phases, including contracts, change orders, and close-out reports. Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, permits, and industry standards. Implement and maintain safety programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
