We're currently seeking a highly motivated Owners Construction Representative located in Eastern, PA.
Required Education:
- Bachelors in Architectural or Engineering studies
OR
- Candidates with two (2) years on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vertical and/or flat work construction from contractor mobilization to closeout.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring contractor performance, ensuring quality material and workmanship are by plans and specifications.
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm that is client-centric is a must.
Responsibilities: - Oversee construction from conception to completion.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance including safety, quality, and coordination with owner operations.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Proactively plan with the owner and contractor(s) to mitigate risk and minimize potential project challenges.
- As requested by the owner, negotiate terms of agreement for changes either anticipated or planned.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
