Mater Dei High School, a co-educational college preparatory diocesan Catholic high school, has an opening for an Administrative Assistant Athletics. This position begins July 1, 2024.

This full-time non-exempt position supports all administrative aspects of the athletic department.

Specifically, the administrative assistant is responsible for providing in-office support to ensure the efficient operations of the athletic office including but not limited to:

  • Meeting coordination.
  • Calendar scheduling.
  • Project planning.
  • Direct support to all athletic directors.
  • Contract input and review.

Must be able to effectively communicate via phone and email and ensure that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner. Familiarity with athletic department practices and procedures is desirable. Strong Microsoft office skills are required including TEAMS. The ability to create and work with complex excel files is required.

Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience: Previous athletic department, CIF or administrative experience is desired.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
