Logistics Coordinator Position Available
As the center of a fast-paced strategic environment, the Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in meeting the needs of our customers. We are seeking individuals who can think strategically, plan ahead in rapidly changing situations, and maintain a positive team-oriented attitude. Role Responsibilities
Manage asset utilization and drivers to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability
Assist, coach, and mentor drivers with training and administrative tasks
Plan and coordinate freight, driver schedules, and maintenance needs
Monitor driver performance and address any concerns with support or disciplinary action
Track drivers and loads to ensure efficient dispatching
Coordinate backhauls to keep freight moving consistently
Maintain frequent contact with drivers and monitor any issues or needs
Handle urgent situations to ensure on-time delivery
Orient new drivers and assist with unique scheduling needs
Job Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with office equipment and computer usage
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
