The Housekeeper will provide good customer service skills. Knowledge of and experience in Cleaning and Maintaining a private Residence, Daily Cleanings, offices and public areas. Ability to adapt to different situations to complete the job. This position is a part-time, weekends, year-round role.

Essential Functions

  1. Prepare equipment and supplies for daily cleaning responsibilities.
  2. Bathrooms- cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, bathtubs, counter tops, sinks and mirrors.
  3. Kitchen- Cleaning and sanitizing all surface areas, counter tops, appliances, small appliances, stoves. Polish stainless appliances.
  4. Empty trash cans.
  5. Dust and polish furniture, cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces.
  6. Handle all furniture and appliances with care.
  7. Sweep, vacuum carpets & rugs.
  8. Mop floors.
  9. High dusting
  10. Make beds and fluff pillows.
  11. Wash linens and towels.
  12. Iron pillow cases.
  13. Wash customer's personal laundry and occasional ironing.
  14. Sweep and wash garage floors.
  15. Report necessary repairs, replacements, damages.
  16. Preform duties in line with the Employee Handbook.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This position is an indoor and outdoor position that will be subject to weather conditions and other hazards found outside. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, chemicals and other potential hazards related to cleaning homes and facilities.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Part Time, year-round position. Days and hours of work are random and based off service requests and the demands of arrivals and departures and may be adjusted for business needs. Overtime is possible. Must have the ability to work weekends, holidays, and days, with flexible hours. Schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments.

Travel

There are no travel requirements for this position. You may be asked to provide transportation to the job location on property.

Required Education and Experience
  1. There are no educational expectations for this role.
  2. Previous experience in House Cleaning or Hotel Room Cleaning required.


Preferred Education and Experience
  1. Prior experience in a housekeeping type of position.
  2. Prior experience in a hospitality or service related business
  3. A high school diploma or equivalent.
