Duties
* School Guidance Curriculum
* Help students enroll in classes that will assist them in their post-high school journey
* Monitor students achievement and assist in implementing the proper interventions.
* Individual Student Planning
* In this K-12 district, the Professional School Counselor will work with students at many levels as they progress through the district
* Responsive Services
* Individual and group counseling
* Being involved with school and district wide committees
* Peer helping
Qualifications
* Illinois Professional Educator License with School Counselor Endorsement
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
and acceptable
Salary/Benefits
As determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement that includes Board Paid TRS
Additional Notes
Employment would start immediately and is for 190 contractual days.
