Overview:
H&K Group, Inc. is looking for a dispatcher to schedule workers, equipment, and materials daily to insure they are in place for each job in the field. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Coordinate movement of workers, materials and equipment to job sites
- Dispatch trucks to job sites, quarries and asphalt plants
- Communicate with material suppliers, laborers, operators, and supervisors with job concerns
- Keep track of traffic and weather conditions affecting schedules
- Prepare all paperwork associated with completed assigned tasks
- Monitor truck activity using HCSS Telematics
- Schedule worker and equipment moves using HCSS Dispatcher Software
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- Associates degree in a relevant field from an accredited educational institution; OR 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access)
- Working knowledge of iPhones for call and text communication
- Problem solving, planning, and other reasoning skills
- Ability to work and adjust to changes
- Customer Service and Teamwork
- Business Acumen and Cost Consciousness
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
