  1. V. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    A. PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
    Category #4 (On-site Employee with NO Network Access Off-site): Employee works at a Flexcon facility.
    Must be able to work overtime as needed.
    Must be punctual, able to sustain attendance guidelines, and work hours as assigned.
    Estimated % of travel is 0.
    The department manager will assign one of the following three options for driving requirements for this position:
    Option 1: Driving while on company business is not required as part of this role.
  1. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


I. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Education/Skill level of HS diploma or equivalent with related applied training
EXPERIENCE: Must be computer literate: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Able to learn CMMS (ER Portal). Internet use for research will be required.
Above average mechanical/electrical knowledge of all basic industrial components.
Previous inventory/maintenance experience a plus.
  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain proper levels of all inventoried items.
  • Maintain all locations with a bar code.
  • Produce reports on spending, locations, shortages, and major repair trends.
  • Write purchase requisitions for all spare parts.
  • Verify the correct items when they come in and get received.
  • Some travel may be required to local suppliers and other Flexcon facilities, less than 10%.
  • Maintain our database with the correct accounting codes.
  • Works with maintenance Dept. to make sure parts are issued correctly.
  • Meet with suppliers as needed.
  • Obtain quotes for critical parts.
  • Conduct inventory audits on a regular scheduled basis.
  • Provide accurate time frames on critical deliveries.
  • Submit capital requests when appropriate.
  • Assist other Maintenance people as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
