Job Overview:
JMS Turning Point Division is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in different settings.
Job responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain varies types of heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, rock trucks, track trucks, and skid steers.
- Perform tasks such as digging, loading, hauling, and leveling materials.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist with other duties on the job site as needed
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is required
- Proficiency in operating GPS equipment is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to operate different types of heavy equipment
- Having grading knowledge
