Regional Infusion Pharmacy Manager
Complete responsibility for management of the pharmacy departments servicing patients receiving specialized and complex therapies administered in their homes.
Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for Infusion services, sterile preparations, and compounding for multiple locations in multiple states.
- Supervision of professional, paraprofessional, and support staff.
Provide support to company business by compiling data for appropriate company departments
Maintains records of all transactions to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
Submits appropriate claims for third-party reimbursement
Consults with referral sources and advises on formulary medications and cost-effective and innovative therapies
Qualifications: - Licensed Pharmacist with a PharmBS / PharmD from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- Four years of Pharmacy Management experience.
- Minimum two years infusion therapy compounding experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to take on a wide range of duties and projects and prioritize appropriately.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
