**Laborers and Operators Hard and Soft Surface Utility Restoration**

We have a large Gas Distribution project running in Central and Eastern Iowa over the next few years and are seeking to hire a variety of union Laborers, Operators, Fusers and, Foremen to join our growing team. Each position varies in job duties and responsibilities. The information listed below is a broad overview of all job openings.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in the hard and soft surface restoration
* Experience in forming and pouring city sidewalks, ADA ramps, Curb and Gutter
* Able to work in changing weather conditions
* Flexibility to work varying schedules and stay late as needed
* Willing to travel overnights during the construction season
* Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and maneuver in small areas
* Federal Med/Health Card
* Strong communication skills
* Valid drivers license, Class A CDL is preferred
Description:
* Use of hand tools
* Load and unload equipment and materials
* Keep worksite clean and organized
* Maintain open communication with crew members
* Follow safe practices and written procedures
* Check and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe working order
* Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, and worksite or traffic laws
* Perform pre and post-trip inspections daily
* Perform other duties as assigned
