Inventory and Service Support Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and proficient professional for the role of Inventory and Service Support Specialist, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of goods and services received from suppliers in the Axapta ERP system. This role also entails providing comprehensive administrative support for the entire life cycle of Canadian Service projects in the ERP system

Responsibilities / Tasks

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta) ERP systems, inventory management, and project support. The successful candidate will contribute to the seamless execution of operations and play a vital role in maintaining organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise warehouse transactions within the ERP system.
  • Conduct thorough reconciliation of expected Goods Receipt against warehouse packing lists.
  • Manage the reception of goods in the ERP system with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
  • Issue materials to projects, production orders, sales orders, and other applications such as maintenance, utilizing journals in the ERP system.
  • Uphold inventory integrity by identifying and correcting discrepancies in collaboration with the Operations Team.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and analytical support to the team.
  • Review and analyze project requirements and fulfillment at project completion.
  • Facilitate the Item creation and cost maintenance process in the ERP system.
  • Generate parts quotes in adherence to project specifications.
  • Create and manage sales orders, ensuring accurate coordination and communication with internal teams regarding open sales orders and delivery dates
  • Oversee invoice generation and submission to end customers.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to maintain and update costs in the ERP system.
  • General Office, Administration Duties

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Minimum one year certificate from college or technical school; or 3 years related experience and/or training
  • Relevant experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Axapta.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Administrative proficiency, including accurate documentation and transaction handling.
  • Experience in supporting the entire life cycle of projects, including generating quotes, creating sales orders, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with the Operations/Service Team and other departments.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to inventory management and ERP processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
