Oneida Health s Extended Care Facility (ECF) is a 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that strives to provide the highest level of quality care for residents. * LPN is responsible for the daily care of residents in collaboration with the Unit Manager & under the supervision of the RN & Physician
* LPN will respond appropriately/timely to resident/family needs within the LPN scope of practice
* LPN will oversee the activities performed by CNAs & Ward Clerks on unit
* LPN will use nursing process, judgment, & skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care
* Use excellent judgment to make decisions to promote the safety/quality care to resident s
* Perform/administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications & observes resident for desired or unwanted effects
* Communicate & collaborate with appropriate members within the care team to revise/update the Care Plan or any pertinent findings including lab/test results, incidents, &/or concerns
* Monitor/document vitals, treatments administered, & resident responses
*Requirements*
* Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
* Current LPN license in good standing in New York State
* Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, & compassionate care
* Interested in helping variety of patients of all ages who are ill, injured, and/or disabled
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, & organizational skills
* Trusted to work independently & in a team environment
* Works well under pressure & will work collaboratively with all staff
* Demonstrate patience & empathy
* Having keen attention to detail when taking and recording patient s information
* Create a clean & healthy environment for patients
* Possess a spirit of cooperation & enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & optimal resident health
* BLS/CPR (Preferred)

Pay: $26.50 - $28.95 per hour
