Job Details
Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any changes. Checks weight of package; verifies code dates and price; examines package for proper seal. Places box or specialty container onto pallets. Prepares items when "extra." Labels boxes; rework items. Gives breaks and lunches. Maintains an organized and sanitary work environment at all times. Works in a safe manner at all times and communicates any safety issues to supervisor. Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements Requires basic math and reading skills. Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time Requires knowledge of product quality and production processes. Able to communicate with leadership and trainers. Moderate lifting (40 lbs).
