**The Position:**
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Material Handler II to support our Warehouse Department. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work efficiently.
The Material Handler II is responsible for issuing work orders and the set up of kits for Manufacturing. This position is also responsible for efficient and timely flow of raw and finished material through the facility.

Receive completed products into the stockroom, sort and deliver to appropriate location. * Use work orders to pull parts and set up kits for Manufacturing.
* Prepare documents, such as work orders or bills of lading to route and/or deliver materials to correct location.
* Confer and correspond with Manufacturing Manager to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages and nonconformance to specifications.
* Organize and document storage and movement of materials to satisfy the production schedule.
* Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform routine inventory audits including cycle counts.
**Essential Tasks**
* Back-up Group Leader with labor entry, employee training and other ERP system processes in their absence.
* Document assembly process including labor, part shortages, quality issues and recommendations for improvement.
* Prepare parts for assembly and check for prepping accuracy.
* Build prototype assemblies which often do not have the complete traveler package documentation.
* Perform routine Quality Control checks; identify and remove/replace/repair any defects or non-conformities.
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION**
High School Diploma or General Education Degree
**EXPERIENCE**
Six months to one year related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment

**Computer Skills**
* Ability to learn MiTeks internal computer systems
* Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
**Other Requirements**
* Ability to work overtime as required/requested including but not limited to before and after shift and on Saturdays
* Use of tools/equipment
* Ability to complete surface mount assembly including rework and component placement
* Ability to anticipate needs of production based on direction from supervisor
* Ability to perform cycle counting in MiTeks internal computer systems
