Job Details
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demand. Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about various products and preparation of cakes. Helps resolve customer concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. Mixes, shapes, proofs and bakes breads, rolls, sweet goods and cakes. Also makes up various items for the refrigerated and freezer cases. Fills donuts and places into frying oil. Flips donuts with sticks, removes donuts from oil and places onto racks for cooling. Decorates cakes and other bakery products using basic designs. Trims and cuts cakes to required specifications using dye or specific designs or may create custom designs. Spreads icing on cakes surface and between layers. Takes customer orders over the phone or in person at the store with a pleasant and positive attitude.
