Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, trade shows, and corporate meetings
- Collaborate with event planners and managers to develop event concepts and themes
- Research and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best deals and services
- Assist in the development and management of event budgets
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, equipment rental, and setup
- Assist with event marketing and promotions, including writing content, designing materials, and managing social media campaigns
- Manage event registration and attendee database
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools.
