Job Summary
We are in search of a dedicated Porter/Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Chicago! + Service, clean, disinfect and supply restrooms
+ Gather and empty trash
+ Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, burnishing, buffing or vacuuming
+ Clean debris from building exterior grounds, including parking structure
+ Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
+ Dust and disinfect doorknobs, common surfaces, furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
+ Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
+ Learn and follow safety procedures and policy
+ Perform all other general cleaning duties as assigned
**Requirements**
+ Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the essential functions of the job.
+ Previous cleaning, janitorial, facilities maintenance experience in a commercial environment
+ Requires handling various alkaline, caustic, and solvent solutions
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and safety procedures
+ Ability to operate various types of powered and hand equipment

This position is in a site or facility that may require all vendor employees and contractors who will be performing services on site to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
