Overview:
AtWork is seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and possess the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) duties. This position is located in the Moores Mill area off Hwy 72.
Duties:
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks, pneumatic air staplers and nail guns
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Will work at a steady fast paced environment, will be required to produce a specific amount of crates a day.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess some of the following skills:
-MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE, WILL BE TESTED.
- Experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or siding installation a plus
-Comfortable in an assembly/production based environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely up to 50 pounds as needed
-Will work on an assembly line set up assembling wood parts to create a shipping crate.
-ATTENDANCE IS A MUST NOT AN OPTION
-Must be able to work in a limited climate controlled environment
