Primary Responsibilities

In the role of CADD Technician, we'll count on you to:

Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD (Civil 3D) engineering drawings and compile to create a set of permittable plans.

Prepare designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams or schematics.

Prepare working drawings for conceptual plan, final engineering documents and construction record drawings.

Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff, and construction staff

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience

Requires good working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, LDD, construction documents and technical knowledge

Knowledge and training using AutoCAD

Microsoft Office skill

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred

Support development of standards, templates, libraries, optimizations, and processe

Strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering including land development, utilities, water resources, and construction.

Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.

High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed.

Ability to organize, schedule, prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
