The Role at a Glance
As Lincoln Financial Group continues its technology transformation journey, our Omnichannel solutions teams have led the way. We are looking for a full-stack software engineer who actively engages with the team, while working remotely full-time. You will apply your engineering knowledge to build a unique digital experience for our newly created Financial Wellness portfolio. Financial Wellness, and helping customers achieve financial security, is a top priority for LFG with the goal of building out an industry leading program. Youll have the opportunity to work in an exciting and fast paced environment, with a new agile team that will primarily work with applications on AWS. Youll also have broad exposure to the multiple businesses across LFG and new products from LFG and strategic third-party partnerships, and youll play an important role in our Cloud Transformation that is taking LFG to new heights. What you'll be doing
You will be involved in the full lifecycle of application development from designing, coding, testing, deploying, and monitoring
Working in AWS, and using DevOps tools with expertise, such as Gitlab, SonarQube, and Fortify to drive operations and collaboration
Constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations, test automation)
Leveraging back-end frameworks (e.g. Restful) and front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular 6+)
Champion lean-Agile and DevOps principles and practices (e.g. CI/CD) while supporting a culture of innovation and continuous learning
What were looking for
Must-Haves:
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
3+ years of experience developing applications in backend Python, and frontend Angular
Proven record of understanding and applying engineering best practices
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with unit test frameworks
Experience with microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web services
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps
Experience working within an Agile Team
Excellent communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-haves:
Familiarity with backend Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot
Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, etc.

Pay Range: $67,000 - $120,700
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincolns total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincolns standard benefits package.
