Job Title: QA Tester
Work Location: Remote
Clearance Required: DHS Public Trust (EOD), US Citizen (Secret of above preferred)


Alpha Omega is seeking a QA Tester to support our client. You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring all ICTs are Section 508 Compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring all ICT is Section 508 Compliant
  • Remediation of small/medium/large artifacts including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Websites, On-line Learning Modules, etc
  • Updating SOPs to align with 508 program and operational needs and improve customer support
  • Perform testing using tools such as Color Contrast Analyzer, ANDI and hands-on testing using a repeatable, systematic testing methodology
  • Conduct quality control reviews on e-publications, PDFs, PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents to ensure they are Section 508 compliant
  • Collaborate with coworkers in finding solutions to technical problems
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with section 508
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.0/Section 508 accessibility standards and best practices, and experience with remediation
  • Manual & Automate testing experience
Required Certification(s):
  • DHS Trusted Tester certification (or ability to gain certification within 90 days)
Desired Qualifications / Experience:
  • DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Federal Government 508 Compliance experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
