Clinical Nurse Educator - Critical Care

The Clinical Nurse Educator is a registered nurse who works as an expert practitioner within a specialized field of nursing. This individual is responsible for evaluating and implementing evidence-based practice, education, and professional development, within critical care areas. They serve as a clinical resource for the ICU, PCU, and 5M step down Nursing staff for bedside care. In addition, they will focus on new graduate nurses development within the Critical Care Departments.

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited NLN approved RN program. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in Education preferred. Five (5) years of recent clinical experience in a Critical Care setting. One year of education background preferred. Current SC nursing license or compact state license; BLS, PALS, ACLS. Prefer certification as CCRN. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, outcomes oriented, and knowledge of education methods and clinical practice.
