Key Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Participate in employer paid on the job training (8000 hours)
- Participate in employer provided 4 year correspondence course to be completed outside of working hours
QualificationsWhat we are looking for: - Must be at least 18 years old or hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Physical Requirements - While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending and kneeling for extended periods
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices
- Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
