Position overview
We are currently seeking a Material Clerk for our Material control department. Minimum qualifications and desired skills are outlined below for interested candidates. This position is a mix of administrative duties and labor - the ideal candidate would be comfortable with physically helping in the warehouse or where needed in material control, as well as having strong computer skills on the administrative side of the position.
Job responsibilities
- Accurately picks large quantity of parts for production shop orders.
- Perform and verify cycle counts when necessary to provide accurate inventory totals.
- Operates forklift to pull large, palletized boxes from high locations.
- Performs other duties including but not limited to- Returning stock to warehouse, assisting receiving department, and general warehouse functions.
- Must be able to work independently and problem solve stock issues when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications HS diploma/GED
Previous experience in warehouse or shipping, and experience with job duties listed above
Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on occasion throughout a shift.
