Now hiring for material handlers. Spherion of Columbus, GA has opportunities for material handlers available 1st and 2nd shift to support our customers. Our material handler positions will help our customers with receiving, inspecting, unloading incoming materials, and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. We have full-time material handler opportunities that have extra hours to best fit your schedule. All material handler positions are temp to hire. Responsibilities:
Material handler- picking, packing orders with headset, and merchandising orders
Electric pallet- 2nd shift 11am-9:30pm
Forklift Operator- Sit down forklift operator 1st & 2nd shift, Stand up forklift operator 1st shift
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment preferred
Ability to operate industrial forklift trucks
Computer skills, experience with RF scanner
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to lift 50lbs Organizing and storing materials in designated locations
Picking and packing materials for outbound shipments
Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
