**SUMMARY:**

The Material Handling Laborer will provide excess submarine material processing.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The Contractor will receive nonhazardous and hazardous material from submarines at building 452K on JBPHH. Contractor will identify the material, inventory the material, temporarily stow the material, and process excess material

* Receive, inspect and store material marked for submarine units

* Maintain an electronic inventory of all material under their

control

* Perform inventory functions onboard submarines. The Contractor will count and

report an accurate inventory to ship's force Supply Department. The Contractor will also

remove excess material and transfer to building 452K or other shore-based facilities as

directed.

* Provide a list of all items maintained in inventory to NSSC PH and COMSUBPAC.

* Prepare, package, and ship materials to a designated Real-Time Asset Reutilization site; or, arrange to

transfer the material to DLA for distribution.

* Receive and sign for material from commercial and government activities marked for submarine

units at JBPHH.

* Document material receipt.

* Deliver and pick up cargo for submarines berthed at JBPHH.

* Consolidate and ship material to submarines operating overseas.

* Material removal from submarines.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Valid Drivers License

* Must be a U.S. Citizen

* Forklift Certification

* Have and be able to maintain a SECRET security clearance.

* Have fluent oral and written communication skills in English.

* Have minimum of three years prior logistics operational experience.

* Have the ability to lift a minimum of thirty five pounds and up to 50 lbs, unassisted.

* Must be computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft

Word; and, have the ability to learn unique automated data applications.

**WORKING CONDITIONS:**

* Warehouse (open & air conditioned)
