Senior Backend Engineer (Golang and Node.js) - 100% REMOTE

Job Details

ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, performant backend systems and services that power ourplatform's core functionality.Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of the frontend and backend partsof the application, providing a robust API that meets our application's needs.Implement security and data protection best practices to safeguard user data and ensure compliancewith legal and industry standards.Collaborate with the data team to design and implement systems that efficiently process and analyzelarge volumes of data, contributing to our insights on influencer spend and EMV calculation.Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, and guide other team membersthrough code reviews and mentorship.Stay abreast of new technologies and advocate for their adoption where they can improve our platform'sperformance, scalability, or developer workflow.Work with the project management team to estimate development timelines, identify potentialroadblocks, and contribute to the solution design process.Work with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of features.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent workexperience.5+ years of backend development experience, with a proven track record of developinghigh-performance, scalable web applications.Expertise in server-side languages such as Node.js, GoLangKnowledge of Protobuf is a plusStrong experience with database design and management, including working with SQL and NoSQLdatabases.Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Google Cloud), including serverless architectures.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
