JOB OVERVIEW
Care Indeed is hiring a compassionate and motivated Private Duty Nurse to provide top-quality service to our clients. Strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and continuously improve are essential for success in this role. A demonstrated background in education, skills, knowledge, and experience in aging and care management is also necessary to provide quality care management services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer medication to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medication and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records for all residents.
- Assist with medication management, including ordering, storing, and disposing of medications as needed.
- Provide support to Caregivers and CNAs assisting residents with activities of daily living, as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the holistic care of residents.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Graduated from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
- Drivers License (Required)
- Medication Administration: 1 year (Required)
- Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience in a Home Health agency or hospital setting
- LVN License in the State (Required)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Unwavering commitment to ethical work standards in all interactions with clients and employees

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in verbal and written English is required for effective communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job such as:
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers, which may require lifting and repositioning.
- Sitting, standing, stooping and walking
- Lifting/moving/carrying of 50 lbs at the minimum
- Must be able to work in varying conditions, including the presence of stairs and potential outdoor tasks.

- Schedule: Weekdays, per diem, weekend schedule, NOC/Graveyard shift
