Job Details
- Manage the shift to ensure all performance goals of the plant in relation to safety, waste, quality, and productivity are achieved.
- Provide associates with coaching, feedback, and timely performance reviews.
- Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are met and that ISO 9001 Quality System procedures are followed.
- Oversee plant initiatives such as 5S, QCO, and AIB.
- Supervise shift personnel in a manner that promotes a sense of fairness and high morale.
- Control operating costs.
- Perform job checkouts and make decisions regarding quality.
- Oversee the department on the night shift to ensure compliance to regulatory policies.
- Effectively facilitate and lead a small team to achieve specific QCO goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years production experience needed
- Proven ability to effectively manage people and responsibilities
- Strong computer skills needed, PRISM knowledge is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills needed
- Strong technical skills in flexible packaging desired
- Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen and background check
Internal Candidates: - Must have received a 'Performer' or better on last review
- Must not have active disciplinary action higher than Verbal Warning within last 120 days.
