A Purchasing Specialist is responsible for providing support and administrative assistance to the procurement team, aiming to enhance their productivity and efficiency.


MRO

  • Search for vendors for MRO parts and materials requested by each department and compare prices.
  • Enter MRO purchase orders into the data sheet.
  • Track material shipping schedules with vendors and inform the requesting department of shipment status.
  • Enter invoice data into the data sheet to share with the accounting department.


Qualification/skills:

  • Degree in a related field (preferred).
  • + 2 years of experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with vendors.
  • Proficiency in basic Excel functions.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
