Order Processing/Customer Service Representative


Job Details

Responsible for providing accurate, timely and courteous processing of customer orders and all functions and documentation required in completing this process. Key Duties Tasks/ Duties/ Responsibilities: Process all customer orders (direct and distribution) via phone, fax, e-mail, voice mail and EDI through the Meridian ERP System. Handle customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, complaints, proof of delivery, and shipping terms. Communicates, when necessary, with Accounts Receivable for orders involving new account status and credit hold status. Responsible for setting up and processing standing orders. Communicate when necessary, with Sales Operations and/or Field Sales concerning pricing or other customer issues. Process Customer Order Resolutions (CO - Rs) involving customer complaints. Work closely with Materials Management to ensure compliance with FIFO inventory guidelines. Attend departmental meetings as requested by management.
