Objective: To prepare all hot/cold food items. Be responsible for consistency and quality production and ensure all food is served according to specification.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
- Insure station is set for service.
- Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
- Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
- Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
- Production of orders.
- Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times

Requirements - Display basic knife and fundamental prep skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in fast paced, scratch kitchen - everything made fresh
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day
- Must exhibit self-motivation and a desire to learn & advance within the company
- Must have a go giver personality and willingness to help
- Must have availability to work primarily weekend, AM & PM shifts
- Certification/attending a culinary institute is a plus!
Company Information The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant in Greenville's West End that offers a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East. The culinary team is known for a "made from scratch" approach to cooking. Our menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat and cheese plates, small plates to "graze and nibble," and main dishes.
