Status: Part-Time HourlyFLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of Position: The Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services.
- Provide direct counseling to the individual and family.
- Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment.
- Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP Policies and State and Federal regulations.
Office is located in Austin. However, job responsibilities are in the community and the office. Services are primarily in person, but some telehealth is provided. Qualifications/ Requirements: Master's Degree in one of the following human services fields required: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health from an accredited college or university.
Active/Valid Texas Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required.- Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
- Foster Care experience is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
Bi-Lingual is preferred.
