**Summary:** An Assembler is responsible for using components and parts to produce quality products. They will also read and interpret blueprints, positions parts, and examines connections for correct fit. They will also be able to perform repairs as needed and report errors in the assembly line. May perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:**
Ability to read, learn, understand and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures.
Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
Knowledge for wire terminating machines (specifically electrical department).
Ability to use of some hand tools, wire cutters, screw guns, drills, and routers.
Ability to perform soldering.
Cross train to other departments as needed.
**Education and Experience:**
High School diploma or GED equivalent is *preferred*
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment *preferred*
Some basic computer knowledge
**Physical Working Conditions:**
Job requires repetitively lifting average weight objects with repetitive bending and stooping.
Frequently lifts heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Job may require physical exertion such as long periods of standing.
Job may require above average agility and dexterity.
**Work Hours:**
Expected to work 6AM-4:30PM, Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Friday/Saturday
