If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we re eager to hear from you.The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides overall project schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertiseStewards the Contractor's project control organization with respect to schedule development, control and progress measurementAdvises the Contractor's organization with respect to adequacy of project controls tools, reports and schedulesDevelop / Maintain Level 1 and Level 2 integrated project schedulesReviews and, where appropriate, endorses schedule and progress Baselines and forecast prepared by ContractorAdvises Project Controls Lead and Project Leadership Team of any potential schedule issues and when necessary, provides guidance on, corrective action and measures to mitigate any adverse trendsDevelops and reviews schedule corrective actions and recovery plans, and verifies needed actions/plans are implementedReviews project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact; responsible for quantifying and incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the overall schedule stewardship and reporting.Monitor and report on schedule implications of changesReviews schedule basis of Contractor's change proposalsReviews and endorses changes with regards to schedule and progress impactSupports Project Team with ongoing project progress measurement and schedule analysis, reporting, and forecasting activitiesEnsure that contractor scheduling practices and progress measurement system comply with project Coordination ProceduresLead Contractor to development Contract Control Schedules and MilestonesEnsure integration of subcontractors schedules and progress measurement systemMonitor contractor performance vs. approved baseline schedule to assist management in identification of issues and development / implementation of corrective actions or recovery plansAnalyze progress, schedule trends, and develop forecasts to support management decision makingParticipate in contract bid evaluations (as required for schedule evaluation)Ensure that contractor schedule reflects / align with external schedule requirements and interfaces such as permitting and regulatoryAssist Project Team in developing/reviewing schedule corrective actions and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions/plans are implementedProvide direction and feedback to schedule engineers (owner and contractors) on schedule development and control expectations during executionParticipates in gathering and recording Lessons Learned for the project that relate to progress and schedule areasMaintains regular contact with the Functional OrganizationMaintain close liaison with members of the organizationDrives and promotes capital efficiency on projects being stewarded by the departmentDevelop Level 3 schedules using Primavera through collaboration with Business Unit teams for overall well delivery lifecycle (from start of development through execution to production) and through leveraging scheduling database (Aucerna EXECUTE) to build schedules. In addition, learn and develop skills to build schedules within EXECUTE, and or improve EXECUTE capabilities working with IT and other business contacts.Track overall progress on weekly basis of well delivery activity through collaboration with BU teams.Develop Level 3 schedules (Primavera) for Regulatory Permitting basis using pre-developed flow charts and collaboration with permitting team. Track overall progress on weekly basis of permitting progress.Provide weekly updates on overall integrated schedule performance and provide analysis and recommendations for Business Units in overall planning and schedule control to maximize efficiency of operations while maintaining full life cycle value.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management20+ years prior oil and gas industry experience preferred20+ years in Project Controls, Project Services and/or Planning/SchedulingMinimum 8 years of supervisory experience requiredWilling to work overseas in a team environment, relocate to project site as requiredStrong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skillsAdvanced competency in Primavera Project Planner (P6)Adaptability to changing prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requestsAuto req ID:63259BRJob Type:Full Time-RegularAssignment Country:United StatesTotal Years of Exp:8 Education Type:B.E/B.Tech/BS-OthersAssignment State:TEXASAssignment Location:HoustonExperience Level:Mid Level
