Some of our Plant based roles we have open throughout the USA works in support of multiple departments.
Repair Operators: Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets. In a repair department places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place. In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw. Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
Forklift Operators: Operates forklift to move pallets through the different departments in the plant. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. The forklift operator is responsible for supplying and retrieving pallets or materials form different departments throughout the plant as needed. The operator is responsible for making decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize the efficiency of the plant. May lubricate, and replace liquefied-gas tank.
Sorters: The Sorter position is responsible for sorting pallets to grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed from pallets. Responsibilities also include achieving expected production requirements. The sorter position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis. The job requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the observance of all safety rules and regulations.
Quality Control Auditor: Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. In quality department places pallet on rollers, lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues. In an assembly department understands pallet specifications and modification necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station, as well as fully versed in PCP program. Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs. Equipment and tools must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
Cleaning Technicians: Are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, general repairs, and custodial maintenance of the Service Center facilities. The Cleaning Technician ensures proper upkeep of all common areas including breakrooms, parking lot, restrooms, etc. This role requires proficiency in chemical handling and experience with various cleaning equipment.
Shift Lead: The Shift Lead is responsible for serving as a functional subject matter expert and peer leader to assigned area on the production floor. The Shift Lead should display functional knowledge of forklift operations, pallet repair, or sort operations. This employee supports the Operations Supervisor (s) in ensuring teams deliver superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding expectations in the key areas of safety, service, quality, and cost. Specific responsibilities include assists with directing the work of forklift, sort, and designated repair table (s).
Yard Driver: Will assist operations in an active trailer yard, performing a variety of duties including operating a spotter truck. This role ensures that trailers are correctly positioned for loading and unloading, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations. The Yard Driver plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of operations within the logistics department.
Operations Supervisor: Is responsible for assisting the Plant Manager in managing total plant
operations and delivering superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding
expectations in the key areas of safety, service, quality and cost.
Maintenance Technician: The purpose of the role is to manage and lead the plant technical and maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient running of all the plant s production equipment, facilities and building services.
We have roles open on 1st , 2nd and 3rd shift schedules throughout all 50 states.
