Environmental Specialist


Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the environmental compliance programs including all regulatory permits.
  • Manage and maintain regulatory programs and compliance (ex, SWPP, SPCC, wastewater, Tier II, Tile V).
  • Monitor and analyze environmental data and trends to present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects and on-going operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental compliance across all company activities.
  • Develop and manage chemical inventory and approval process and storage management.
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in environmental engineering or related role.
  • Experience managing environmental compliance tasks.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office computer software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
  • Well-developed organizational and communication skills.
