The Bakery Clerk provides support to the Bakery department and staff. Primary focus is to prepare and display product in the department in a clean, neat and expedient manner, ensuring all product is fresh, rotated, and well stocked for our customers while maintaining great customer service. JOB DUTIES - Orally communicates with customers and co-workers on products and prices. - Weighs certain items. - Prices customer selections using label machine and calculators. - Understands procedures for taking deposits on purchases. - Figures mathematical calculations assessing prices paid and change due. - Checkouts customer purchases using register. - Completes necessary paperwork to countdown cash register (end shift). - Provides samples for customers. - Demonstrates salesmanship on a routine basis. - Answers telephone to communicate with internal and external customers. - Retrieves product from cooler to fill displays. - Stocks and replenishes counters with product. - Rotates merchandise for ...Bakery Clerk, Bakery, Clerk, Baker, Grocery
