Sign-on Bonus of $1,000 & Starting Pay of $24.45/ Hour! Responsible for operating industrial equipment and forklift trucks to perform all material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into trailers. Works in a freezer environment, and cold environment clothing is provided. This is a 2nd shift position (M-F 4 p-12 a) Responsibilities Performs operation and safety checks on equipment before use. Familiarizes self with productive capacity of machines or loading schedule of shipping services to assure prompt delivery of required items to proper destination, so that equipment does not shut down. Uses snips to open loads, removes strapping and wrapping and safely disposes in designated containers and areas. Places protective materials around load and uses hand or automatic strapping equipment to secure loads for final shipment to customers. Removes empty skids and stacks skids in designated areas.
