Shift: 3rd (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

- $32.79/hour + $1.08 shift premium
MS Companies is seeking experienced Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians with strong electrical backgrounds for an immediate need at our partner facility in the Cincinnati, OH area. This is for a 3rd shift role. Hourly Pay is $32.79 + 1.08 shift premium. Candidates will need to take a skills test as a requirement. This is a test that covers electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical at a minimum. NOTE: This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates will convert to "Direct-Hire" after 480 hours of service. Our contract-to-hire employees are paid overtime anything over 40hrs at 1.5x times pay, and typically have an amazing career building experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working plenty of OT and have a maintenance related education degree or certification. Journeyman's cards and Industrial certification will be strongly preferred.
Position Summary:
Advanced technical work in the construction, installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and equipment used in production and related services.
Primary Duties:
Design circuitry by selecting proper components to perform desired functions
Modify and fabricate a variety of electrical/electronic equipment from schematics and sketches
Troubleshoot PLC program logic for machine control functions
Install, maintain, calibrate and repair plant equipment
Read blueprints, instructions and schematics
Follow standardized methods of work
Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of digital and analog applied electronics
Knowledge of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to weld using arc, gas and mig welding equipment
Ability to work from wiring diagrams and specifications
Ability to interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical specifications and manuals
Ability to construct, calibrate, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical devices and
equipment
Ability to use standard test equipment and bench tools
Ability to communicate well with others
Must take a respirator fit test and be willing to be certified in first aid and CPR
Required Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
Must successfully complete testing process for
classification
