Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Catalyst for Success: Supervise department workflow, identify and leverage team strengths, offer education and mentoring, manage staff effectively, resolve conflicts fairly, facilitate communication, and ensure staff compliance.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Prepare realistic budgets, develop cost-saving processes, understand revenue drivers, ensure budget compliance, and adjust staffing to meet patient care needs.

Education:
- Bachelor s degree (BS) in a relevant field preferred.
- Must complete a bachelor s degree in a related field within 5 years of hire.
- Satisfactory completion of annual mandatory education requirements.
Experience:
- For bachelor-prepared candidates: 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in areas of expertise; healthcare experience preferred.
- For non-bachelor-prepared candidates: 7-10 years of sterile processing experience and 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in areas of expertise.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Manager (CSPDM), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required, to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
